Chris: Thx for prompt reply. I guess my real question – which I can state better thanks to your message – is do we need to center punch these days? Eventually we will assume that most people have larger TVs – much like no one designs a web site with a 15″ monitor in mind anymore. Are we there yet?

We are using it in a studio as a boom mic(typical video is at https://www.engineerguy.com). We would rarely, if ever use it outside. In error I ordered a pre-amp with 18v phantom power – just an error on my part. So we have mic, but no pre-amp ….

Problem solved: Someone had changed the Sony deck (“link” in the menu) to convert HDV to DV.

This is an a VERY useful response. Thanks. In regards to 3-way color correction: We have adjusted each clip as we want — if it had problems etc. – although we worked in studio and were careful so there were no major adjustments. What we want to do is now set the overall color to the entire video – to look at highly saturated, for example. Is there any way (other than export as I mentioned) to do ALL clips on the timeline at once?
