I’ve been using PNG with good results.
When I open a new image I leave the background transparent and add my layers above it then save to PNG for import into PI3. I have also used TGA with goodd results as well.
I have not had any borders show up using either format.

Using the Ground Hit and Flash Boom emitters from Pro Emitter Libraray PE_Ecletic_01 and the ring
particial from Space Explosion 2.2 in the Deafult libraray I created the following effect.

The facial blur is really good with this and Smooth Running Gun you can track your subject just like the big boys do. Thank you for the cool emitter.
