    I reinstalled Motion but no change, still won’t boot
    Here is the crash log from Console if that helps:

    I’m looking and I cannot locate a preferences file for motion, assumed it was in the library
    where else might it be

    thanks, I knew I’d be in for a few headaches, I have not done this switch in a couple of years. Certain plug ins like automatic duck can be so difficult to move to another machine
    now where are all those serial #s?
