Thanks Rob for the feedback. I just tried it again. Unless I leave the “Collapse Loop Region When No Timeline is Present” box unchecked, it won’t do a three-point edit (only one “In” point set in trimmer), but lays the entire event in the trimmer from the In point to the end, even if I have, say, a five second selection/region in the timeline. However, if I leave this box unchecked it won’t let me set In/Outs with “I” and “O” keys, also I just checked again–Fit-to-Fill is disabled. I have to be able to set an In point, listen to a piece narration track, tweak it frame by frame, and set an out point. I can’t just scrub a loop region. Also, I want a selection, but I don’t want it to loop. I just want to continue from last Out point when I hit play again (spacebar) to cue up next piece of narration. I found that even if I do Ctrl Q that it loops unless I hit play, then stop. Thanks, Bill.
