I use a Novation Launchpad with my Tangent Wave.
It is a MIDI device with 80 buttons.
I use the same software that X-keys use to program the macros (controller mate).
I really like it. It has been very useful, specially for the memories, since the shortcut for the memories in resolve are, in my opinion, horrible.

I have a few more questions, if you have the time…
Do you think this setup gives you a good boost in performance compared to having just the GTX 570?
I run iStat Menus which says that my nVidia is drawing 4.0 A and the Decklink 1.0 A, I also have a e-sata card that is drawing 0.0 A. Is this inside the specs?
Which slots for nVidia and ATI?

I use the “toggle display mode” found when you right click the nodes area. It hides the viewer and expands the gallery and nodes area. Still, there is a huge delay between the timeline playback position and the SDI output.

Hi, I think the issue is with black magic audio. I changed FCP audio outputs to use internal line out and it looks like the problem is solved!

Mine is in slot 3. Are you positive that the issue is with the DeckLink? I thought it was nVidia related.

Hi Borko, I havent figured it out yet. I think it has to be a problem with Mountain Lion’s nvidia driver. But I didn’t swap the GTX for my ATI for testing yet.
Here FCP stops playing around the first 5 seconds of play. If it goes beyond that limit, it can play the entire program.
Let me know if you find something.
