Color space issues seem to have been improved from 7.0 to 7.0.3 – do you have the current version?
I’ve been using Popwire’s Compression Master for H.264 encoding, which doesn’t have that issue.

Yes, the last supported config for Cleaner was 10.3.8 with QT 6.5.
There hasn’t been an update for more than two years. Time to switch to Squeeze or Compression Master.

Compression Master has been much, much improved over the last few releases.
Cleaner is a tragedy, made all the more tragic by the fact it didn’t need to happen.

I believe the VOD spec can handle either field order. I’ve done my VOD in lower-field without a hitch.

I did exactly that project last week!
I used Carbon (pro-ProCoder), but I imagine ProCoder could do it just fine itself.

Yes, I’ve been using that as well. My only complaint is it doesn’t let me set PID values.
Oh, and it seems to do DVB-style muxing for ac-3, and so I’ve had some trouble with ATSC playback.

Compressor 2’s MPEG-1 is too limited for me. I do pretty much all my non-DVD mission critical MPEG-1/2 in ProCoder/Carbon.

Yes. It’s a checkbox on the last pane of the dialog. Uses Layer II audio, without parameters.
