Compressor Muxing??
is it possible to use Compressor2 to create a MUXED mpeg2 file???

Yes. It’s a checkbox on the last pane of the dialog. Uses Layer II audio, without parameters.

I’ve been using MPEG Streamclip to mux the 5.1 ac3 audio and m2v video files spat out of compressor. Very fast – almost worryingly so – but I can’t find any fault with the synch on a 90 minute encode.

Yes, I’ve been using that as well. My only complaint is it doesn’t let me set PID values.
Oh, and it seems to do DVB-style muxing for ac-3, and so I’ve had some trouble with ATSC playback.

I’ve only been using it for computer-based playback so far, so those limitations haven’t been a problem, but that’s useful to know – thanks!
