Why can’t I make MP3s with Cleaner?
I’m on a Mac, Cleaner 6.01, 10.4.2 OS, 7.03 Quicktime. I can’t make mp3s in cleaner any more. Did a quicktime update break this? I’ve tried the presets and my own custom setting to no avail. I can make them in Squeeze without a problem, but I’m just wondering what happened to Cleaner.

Autodesk has stated that there are (plenty of) issues with 10.4 and QT 7.
Don’t hold your breath for an update to the app.

Yes, the last supported config for Cleaner was 10.3.8 with QT 6.5.
There hasn’t been an update for more than two years. Time to switch to Squeeze or Compression Master.
