    we shoot it on a mixture of dvx100 and canon handicam. edit in a mixture of sony vegas and fcp. rendered out to quicktime with sorenson squeeze.

    looks to me, and i am not expert on here, its an interlacing issue…how to fix it, i’m not too sure.

    perhaps try and render it out progressive?? non-interlaced?

    its funny that they don’t care.

    i edit at harvard, and i’ve compiled clips ranging from weird foreign films, trufeaut films, ridly scot films, and yes, even josie and the pussycats.

    you never know what may end up in a classroom, lol.

    well it’d be helpful for people like me, in the educational field, that make “legit” compilations for professors to use in class.

    anywho, i’ll just stick to the old method.

    wait, if you can hear it, and can’t see it…then your having a video codec issue.

    when you encoded it sorenson, you had the codec, hence you were able to play it.

    i would uninstall qt7 and reinstall maybe, sounds like something is funky.

    i’d try just about any other one…test them out to see what sounds best. your having a codec issue….millions of possibilities.

    for aac audio to work, make sure you have quicktime 7….
