only problem now is rendering, it just stays at 0% while the eta grows, ive tried this for rendering as .avi and as .wmv, any ideas?

    thanks for the help again.

Hey guys thanks for the suggestions so far:

-As for the codec type; the clips are ripped from dvd’s in xvid .avi format

    -The length is 3min30sec

-I tried .wmv rendering but still no good. I tried moving all the clips into the same directory as sony vegas – putting them into a subfolder called “project media” except now it wants me to replace all the clips because the files location has been moved. Is there a way to select new project media location? or am i going to have to reselect all 78 clips? Its doable, just a pain.

thanks for the help so far guys, im hoping i can get this fixed, so annoying as when i added the clips and put them on the timeline everything was ok but then as the project grew some of the clips started turning black and stop working in preview >.< hope we can sought this out. thanks.

ok so i moved my media files to a new folder i named “project Media” which is in the sony vegas folder now. I was wondering if there was a quick way to recapture all my media now that they have been moved rather then having to go and find each clip one by one.

This would be a pain as i had duplicate names that where in a bunch of different folders before (the ripper program would not let you choose an output name) now i’ve got rid of all the extra folders so i have for example cha1121.avi and cha1121(2).avi. Im hoping all of them being in one folder will help the situation.

i mean 3min 30seconds. The .avi are made from a ripping program off dvd’s that i own and it says the format is just xvid .avi so i dont see why that would be wierd, im going to try put the clips in the same directory as vegas as suggested before and then i’ll reply again with the results.
