    Hmm, here are my results.

    Sorenson 3 (standard in QTPro):

    H.264 Output:

    Final Cut preview:

    Obviously the first (Sorenson codec) matches the Final Cut version much closer than the H.264 output. Any suggestions on getting the colors to match?

    H264 is a great codec for Quality to size compression but the colors always come out washed out compared to other codecs / the Final Cut window.

    I’ve tried bumping the gamma in Compressor, but 1 the preview looks fine (matches FCP) and 2 the video still comes out very yellow.

    Thank you for the reply, I am creating for the web. Do you know what the difference between the codec that Final Cut uses to bring in the footage is QuickTime’s gamma? If there is a standard difference then couldn’t I just compensate for it in Compressor’s settings?
