Rob, thanks….everything was n order, but the machine returned to normal…I’ll keep your list handy, but I went through all those items prior to loging on here….

Thats not the problem….I can change that…itys when the time line is moving and the video is going tothe recording device, either directly thru firewire to my Sony Dig 8 camcorder(that I have used for countless videos), or thru an interface that I have used countless times. The video freezes on the first frame after I play the time line. Then after hitting the pause button, the video changes to the frame the timeline stopped at.
