    Thanks John I intend to have a look at one do you have any idea how it would compare to canon fx105 or panasonic equivalent

    I guess I am trying to attain the impossible which is to achieve the goals I mentioned but also have a camera with a respectable zoom capacity for outdoor work such as travel videography – we hope to go on a safari etc.
    One of the local dealers is urging me to buy the nx70 as a good all round compromise – do you have any knowledge of this?

    I was about to order an NX5 but have come accross these complaints as well as an older one about back focusing problems bot in manual and auto modes.
    Am I about to buy trouble??
    Should I wait to see how the panasonic AG-AC 160 perfoms which is due for release in australia shortly and is expected to sell for a similar price. Further I edit in FCP 7 and have no desire to go to FCP X. Finally, my aim is to get good low light performance and good audio performance in dimly lit bars of bands my son plays in. I am an amateur and would really like to avoid a big camera so if anyone can assit with some advice it would be much appreciated
