On my system, the solution was to go to the CONFORM page, and bottom right-hand corner, UN-check “Display Audio Waveforms”.

The problem seems to be that the app goes up to 400% CPU when calculating waveforms, resulting in compromised playback.

BM tech support in UK are at lunch right now, but when they return i will inform them too.

  • Is your hub powered? The panel needs 2amps of power, so hub can not be passive.

Also did you install the tangent hub software?

    Hi Chris
This is a good idea. I have invested in a system which I use with Resolve and Quantel which displays (among other things) a left-right flicker. I leave it running all the time as one of 6 panes on a 32 inch monitor. When you have your primary monitor flashing on a Quantel its a very disturbing work environment. The system is called CelScope3D.

Double check up down arrow keys. They disable grades. But most likely on the render page, bottom left, make sure it’s not set to render source only.

That happened here a couple of times.
In resolve chose no panel, close & re-open resolve.
Now chose wave , close and re-open

    Worked every time here

Your question is the number one head scratcher that causes everyone a problem once!!
I can not understand why resolve does not unlink clips by default. I think it’s a legacy thing. Let’s hope v9 toggles the default setting .

    my local graphic designer.

The Lighting Indicators are self adhesive, so the graphics designers stick one on every color proof they send out, to be sure the client has a means of checking his lighting conditions.
