    Hi Rafael,
not sure what you mean – Ive shot the 30 mins interview in HD digitising with applprores (hd) as I always do…just did exactly the same a few days ago with no prob…
I’ve tried it on different machines…
do you think the tape has got corrupted in some way? The tape plays fine on the deck. The file on the computer is in the capture scratch folder but it is not recognised & wont open in QT viewer…
    all very strange…
and when I stop the transfer FCP crashes (which it never really does)

    I’ve trashed FCP preferences

    any advice would be great
    thanks

I do have a capture card – I do this all the time. Regardless if you think that Pro res is not better (I have done tests myself and read numerous forums that say it is better) have you any ideas why this is happening as this has never happened before. I am an editor and this problem has never happened…

Its shot on Sony HDV Z% on HDV (I always use appleprores (hd) and fine this excellent. What damage are you toalking about?

    thanks

    hmmm interesting. thanks
I dont understand though why it appears right at the end – just when you think youve managed it.
Also can you clarify what you mean by the field order being mis managed?

    thanks loads
    Barbara
