Yeah, you’re right Steve, CYA is always the wise choice.
    Thanks for your input.

  • I really enjoy the gobo pattern option as it gives you so many variables. It provides a nice, soft, interesting backdrop.

Thanks Mark and I agree with you about internal videos finding their way out.
The question I’m still puzzled by is: are there different rights for the Karaoke music and if so, is that in addition to the rights that should go to the original artist?

Oh you are BEAUTIFUL! Thank you.
Turns out one of the keyframes was set at Temporal interpolation: linear, but the Spatial interpolation was set at auto. Once I changed that to linear as well, it solved the problem. That’s awesome. Thanks so much!!

Thanks Duke, it really is frustrating and I’ve had both these problems repeatedly. I’ve always just worked around them but can no longer do that. I’m on a Mac if that helps. Appreciate your response.

Thanks Michael. Would the same be true if I’m duplicating rather than replicating?

    Thank you so much!
I have compressed using the settings: m2v and audio to ac3 file. It all looks great except where there are very dark scenes then I get a lot of pixelated video. Could this be due to my settings or an indication the video ought to be burned onto two full DVDs?
    I appreciate your help.

January 28, 2010 at 10:41 pm in reply to: logo, proanimator and Ai problems

Before I send you my logo I’d better make sure I’m using the correct procedures.
In Ai I create a new document
    profile: custom
    artboards 1
    size: letter
    color mode RGB

    file-place
colored logo is in center of page with wireframe around it.
    livetrace
    tracing options
    Preset: color 6
    mode; color
    max colors 6
trace settings (fills is checked, strokes is not)
    Trace
    save
    version illustrator cs4
    options checked:
    create pdf compatible file
    embed icc profiles
    ok
    Open proanimator
    select ai file
    check:
    open by layers
    use illustrator colors
    move objects to center

oddly, when i get in proanimator this way i have no grids visible even though floor and alpha has been selected. If i go thru all the views i see the alpha channel in the front view but no grid or alpha in any of the other views.
Does this make sense to you?
Thanks for your input, I soooo appreciate it!
