i just install 6.4 dirketly .. and it seems it works fine everythink ..

the splash screen of the installer 6.5.1 look not like the other installers look .. not the golden shiny one … its look like a dev. installer … did we get an beta one ?

hope the next update will come soon … with the long missing dvi2hdmi support for studio hd .. :-))

i dont know why … its somethink have to do with the framebuffer that color uses …
and if you use your decklink card as a sec. monitor it will show you an error message that the framebuffer is still in use .. so disable sec. monitor out on your decklink pref. and it will work .. maybe a dev. from bmd can say why it will not work without sec. monitor is enabled ..

want to say that color is working fine with my decklink hd studio card .. previewing via y/c on my broadcast monitor .. so you dont have to wait for an update or something if you use a decklink card … but with on hint .. you must disable the secd. monitor output on the card pref. .. thats it .. just enjoy color ..
to the 4:4:4 question i dont have an answer .. cause hd studio works with 4:2:2 …

i dont know the multibridge but for my decklink hd studio card i have to disable the video desktop under the pref. for may card and color will startup fine ..
in color you can select your videocard for previewing .. and ready to color ..

iam in the same position … ordered before realizing it was discontinued … but i can say it was the right decision … expect that the hdmi ports not fully support all devices .. still waiting for the dvi to hdmi support … so BMD .. come on … give us the feature .. LUKE !!!
im wokring on FCS 2 and on the last drivers for the decklink cards … the decklink drivers will continue to support the hd studio card … because on the base its an decklink …

and to motivate your engineers i will make an cake for them and sending it downunder .. 🙂
you can call it somethink like attempted bribery :-))

thanks for your answer … it will be great when an dvi support will implementet in to the
DL HD STUDIO card … the think is that it will be enough that the hdmi port will recognise
that there is an device on the port and my mac/dvi port will give me the options for an sec. monitor i can setup it for the right hdtv norm resolution with an little tool called DisplayConfigX. so that the HD STUDIO card wil get his supported hd resolutions and will be ready to capture.
thats my theory .. what are you thinking .. can it work ?
