    Yep,

our FinalDCP is designed to be very streamlined for the average user.
At best you export a Quicktime or AVI file (most codecs like CineForm, DNxHD, ProRes, BMD, AJA etc. are supported) and import into FinalDCP.

    Regarding speed:

We have a new professional version of the RenderNode coming, being 4 times faster. That means a single machine can do realtime. On our RenderFarm we tests about 40fps in 4K, 130+ fps in 2K and we are not yet done.

    Cheers,

    Hi Kristian,

I haven’t tested the mac version yet, but the 5.3 PC version for Multibridge forces any connected MultibridgeHD do a firmware update that leads to non-functional YUV HD inputs on the Multibridge. Switching back to 1.52 does indeed correct the problem, but how can you control a Multibridge Extreme AND a MultibridgeHD from a single computer then.

This is currently not consistent and I totally underline what Joao wrote. This must be fixed quickly, otherwise BMD will be swamped with tons of “defect MultibridgeHD’s” which have just the wrong firmware and not hardware defect… Ask Theo & Andrew McLeod, I gave them detailed report.
