i guess i didn’t notice that little tidbit…
because on the 4.1 squeeze chart it does say that it will convert to wmv…

if i had known that i might have just gotten flip4mac…

that’s false advertising !!!!

sorry…

i was in such a tizzy…
it’s an hour and a half video…

my drives are maxtor’s 8mb cache 7200 rpm…
they are coming in thru an 800 firewire

with the three-way…
i switch to visual
i turn on the vectorscope so i can see the black levels

then through the view menu i turn on the range check for excess luma…to make sure that everything checks out ok…
then i set the black levels and the white levels till i see a green check mark…

lastly i use the eyedropper on the white dial to grab some white from the video…

this usually corrects everything fabulously…

however recently i have some shots that don’t have enough or any white…so i can’t seem to get good color..\

sorry i’m using the newest version of sorenson…

when i use the mpg-2 the video stinks but the audio is all synced up

quicktime is still all funky…i tried turning the bi-directional on and off as well

but apparaenty i have to click on that auto select button
everytime i won’t to paste something…

cause if i don’t the video keeps going to the v-1
