pasting and toggling
sorry i tried searching thru the old posts to get this answer but it still doesn’t seem to be working
i am trying to copy a section from one sequence into a new one
but i want to put the video on track one and the audio on tracks 5 and 6however everytime i copy and then paste into the new sequence just the video shows up on track one…
no audio…
how can i make fcp figure this out…
i tried control clicking the toggle button (which actually i have no idea what and why it’s there)any help would be spectacular

The Auto Select buttons must be enabled for that track to paste it where you’d like.

but apparaenty i have to click on that auto select button
everytime i won’t to paste something…cause if i don’t the video keeps going to the v-1
very frustrating
