I have to agree whats the point? they change the symbol in England so its £400 for us, for minor upgrades patch fixes. FCP X is out in June a brand new product built from the ground up, not an upgrade full program $299 on there app store no additional fees for downloading it. CS5 is where I draw the line, people seem to forget we had to pay upgrade costs to plug-ins we already owned so they could run on CS5. think i have a better chance of just compositing in C4D, than continue to support Adobes outlandish costs for a product that isn’t polished…

I am having the same issues, I recently did the upgrade to snow leopard clean install, If I try and replace footage, or drag the same footage into the project window, i get that wonderful colour ball, I thought the issues was corruption because at the same time i replaced my Drives, but I did multiple tests, from new source material and the same thing is happening.
I would avoid snow leopard for now unless someone knows of a fix this means, Time to travel back to normal Os.X, Time machine would have been a good choice.

It would seem the comp I was working off was broken, tried a Chroma sample and then did some basic matte shapes and exported it.
This works better than Expected, a 444 Chroma keyed person in FCP running at real time. My only concern is its weirdness with gamma.
