  • good idea Chris!
Ya I think its gonna work since I named all the clips I need to pay for in a certain manner.

still its a very backwords workflow – I guess thats why premiere still is a SEMI-Pro NLE app.

PPL! if there is a better way I will be glad to hear!!

    thanks again to Chris Buttacoli

  • thanks for the advice bogiesan

I actually have experience with AE and I followed a lot of Video Copilot Projects used them and tweaked with success.

I have bunch of plugins and I play with it all the time.

My method usually is to find a Tutorial that is very similar to what I have in mind – and then tweak it to my needs.

thing is – when I open a project that I coulldn’t create I very easily see how it works – and tweak it to my needs so that wont be a problem.

The other project I had – a nice cool guy created a very basic functional “structure” project and I created something beautiful out of it.

BUT – right now I’m on a tight schedule for the current project. I have a concept in my head and I couldn’t find tutorial close enough to it.
And I dont have time to try to play with it.

Thats why asked for a recommended tutorial that is close to the “TED” example I gave @ first.

So if somebody has a closer tutorial it would be highly appreciated!

If wont get any I’ll be happy to pay $$$ for a basic “structure” project.

If anybody wants to lift the glove PM me with your contact info and I’ll call you.

  • Thank you very much for replying!

but according to this tutorial the images are still (that are part of a still image that blocks the final displayed movie.

    I need the opposite.

I need a lot of VIDEO screens to zoom out (extremely) and create a word (like the “TED” in the example).

Also the final result should be a word and not just square screen.

I really appreciate the help –
I have my dead line coming soon! 😀

  • I’m sorry but you are a bit too brief for me.

    Can you elaborate?

I want that the final object to contain all kinds of screens I guess there is a camera movement there. but how do I make the screens multiply to form the final object?

    thanks?

BTW example projects would be great!

I don’t want to break the stereo tracks in my sequence to mono tracks.

all I want to do is to have both of the STEREO MASTER channels to be the SAME.

I’m sorry man but nothing there gives me the way to have a sequence with multiple stereo tracks (such as music tracks etc) that takes all that and mixes it that the master track will have the exact same channels.

I tried to send the sequence tracks to a a mono submix but still the master was stereo with different channels.

I’m sure there is a simple way to do this without losing audio data

    but thanks anyway

    Thanks Eddie

But I read he links – and it didnt give me a proper answer – all I can fo is fill left or right to all my tracks ( thus losing one of the channels)

All I want to do is that my sequence will have L+R track the same.

Also if anyone can explain to me the term Joint stereo and dual mono – what is the difference?

    thamks again pips!

    Wow! guys you are amazing!
craig hellen: thanks for the reflection tutorial – I know this Andrew Kramer’s tutorial – but still thanks for your suggestion.

    Paul Hennell!!!
you are a life saver! this expression rocks!
    It’s working great!
I’m thinking about adding a scale slider to your great expression!

BTW do I have to parent the objects to the controls Null? – because It worked without parenting.

But still if you look at the the first sample I up loaded you’ll see that the scale ratio between the foreground & background objects is big.

I’m trying to get that effect by playing with camera lenses and decorating with depth of field.
Is there a better way to control the scale ratio?

Also I want the background objects to be higher so I can see them.
this also I think I can get by changing the camera view.
but when I play with the camera POV the objects prespective change accordingly – Can I some how go around that (like in the sample above?)

    Thanks again!
You really saved me! I was really stuck!

December 14, 2008 at 11:04 am in reply to: Problems with Desktop Video Display on CS4

OK I think I know whats going on.
    I have to monitors.
    Dell 20″ 1600×1200 and Dell 24″ 1920×1200

When I run PPRO on the 20″ monitor, all works great!
But when I run PPRO window in the 24″ monitor – I can’t get Desktop video display.

How do I go around it?

I have ATI RADEON X1950XT 256MB display adapter.

    Cheers

  • I see what you are saying – CS4 can open CS3 projects but not viseversa.

well I guess I’m going to try to run CS4 along with CS3

If I’ll experiance conflicts Ill uninstall CS3
if CS4 wont be stable and will not support my machine software\hardware
    Ill go back 2 CS3
