    Any suggestions on what I could do? I’ve already re-installed vegas.

    Thanks for the reply, I already disable resample, and have GPU disabled. Should I try enabling it?

    It’s not that cut and dry, although I wish it was.
    For starters, my project is in 600fps. So I can’t exactly render it in 600fps, too.
    This problem happens with any amount of difference in FPS, and it shouldn’t. The project settings match perfectly, with the only exception of the FPS, and this has been no problem for anybody else, I’ve confirmed with others who can use the exact transitions I am and render in a smaller FPS without any issue. I render preview the project in 30fps, and the transition looks completely smooth and fine, but once I render it is not just missing, say, half the frames when I go from 60 to 30, but the timing is completely wrong, the effect is very sharp and over quick. It’s not just the same effect missing half of the frames.

    How do I back them up, and is there any way to backup plugins aswell? Thanks.

    it didn’t do anything, nor did it prompt me to reset settings, it just closes vegas instantly.

    I believe it’s some issue with my installment of vegas, or some setting I have, because this happens with more than just the clip I sent you. I have downloaded multiple different footages that do the exact same thing, and I already tried the match settings with a new project.

    How could I go about resetting vegas?

    The video’s undersample rate and playback rate are both at 1.00. I am not time remapping it, the rendered is EXACTLY how it looks when I import footage and do nothing else. Trying to time remap it and drag the clip out further just causes the clip to repeat itself because Vegas actually thinks the clip ends at whatever point at 9 seconds in, and because it is “slowed” automatically, it will repeat at a very early point causing me to not be able to view the entire clip.

    I tried to explain, but yes, it is necessary to be that high; it’s about the ability to slow down the footage extremely slow and still stay above 30fps, which I do need.

    How can the captures be at fault, when another user confirmed it to be fine? Why does it not work on my end only? That doesn’t sound like it’s the capture’s fault at all.

    So then what is the problem? Why do the clips come in odd on my side? Do i need to re-install vegas, because that would be a pain.

    Yes, sorry for explaining it poorly. If you really care to know, on the same channel I uploaded the 2 videos to, I upload “edits” of gaming clips, and to achieve a smooth flow, a high fps is very useful. I am “handicapped” because I cannot edit over 60fps.

    Here’s an example if you’d like to see, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4fwY5Y0_uc

    Disabling resample didn’t change it. The problem isn’t stuttering playback, the clip itself is slowed and shortened when it’s imported to vegas, as you can see by the rendered view I uploaded.
    It’s sort of odd to explain, but 600fps is useful for having it go to up to 5% speed without dropping frames, and that is useful to me;
    regardless I need the clips to be at least 120fps, and I’ve tried to handbrake it to 120 but I have the same issue.
