Ok. So now I have the ability to render the r3d files (I think the recent premiere update had some thing to do with it), but after I rendered my aspect ratio changed and I have black bars top and bottom now…anyone have any thoughts?

Yes I understand the various render bars. My problem is that when I try to render anything at all (whether I do shift+enter or just enter). When I try to export I get a message saying “Offline material is present in this export and will be encoded using the offline media graphic”. I export and it exports fine though…think its related to my render error?

I have installed the importer. I can now import the footage. I have connected the r3d files with the editors edl (as I am just doing color correction) and all the connected files go from red to yellow in the time line. All the transitions are red, but when I try to render anything I get “Error compiling movie. Unknown error.” It doesnt shut down or freeze…It just keeps giving me that error every time I try and render anything.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
