Nope. Media Encoder, Premiere, and AE won’t see any video on the files.. Just sound! So weird, because the conversion tools I use, and the progarms for video playbacking seem to have no issues on that.
Any ideas?

WMP and MPC are just for video playbacking.
I tried converting to AVI using xvid codec, but the quality got pretty messed up. I’m using Any video converter to do this. Would you suggest another tool? -
That worked!
Thank you very much Joey!!!

I’ve took some screenshots to give you a quick glance at my AE comp window. So, the first one, (the above) is when I have nothing selected, and the justifying tools are enabled. But when I do select the text, here’s what I get:

Thank you very much Steve for your response.
In the previous thread, I was quite unsure, for what to do next, after I made the new layer. The solution for the Layer Modes came to this topic, that was very defining.
It’s amazing how this community helps new users.
I’ve been using After Effects for about a year, and I can see that there are still a lot to learn.Thank you all of you! 😀

That’s it. I’ve managed to make it a little bit more light, with this “Screen” layer mode.
Thank you very much Tom!
You have been very helpful indeed! -
Thank you very much Tom. Your post was helpful indeed. I managed to have the desired effect.
But actually, it was the Opacity that I reduced, rathen than increasing the Feather.
And as for the white-to-transparent ramp, I applied a linear color key and set it to black. Is this correct or am I using a quite anorthodox method?
Once again, you were really helpful. Thank you!

Or otherwise, you could apply Hue/Saturation, or a light of your likeness, and then make the object 3-dimensional.

September 26, 2009 at 3:23 pm in reply to: Plexi-Glass Effect on the 12 flags on topIt seems that I responded quite fast, in order to thank you for your replies. Well, I seem to have no luck with it. Are there any pictures of it, or a video tutorial?
All I managed to do, is to make a new layer, apply a ramp, turn it to radial, and then I got a curved circle-mask. How is this gonna be made transparent? When I tried to turn the opacity a bit down, it just didn’t work. It became (somehow) just a background.
I was wondering, if you could apply this effect in a single random picture or logo, and give me the project file. I would be very grateful, if you could.
Once again, thanks everyone!
