    Hello to everyone.

Excuse me if my question is too simple but with english being a foreign language to me, I didn’t know what to search for, to generate the effect that I want.

So, what I want to have is the name of the effect used in the 12 flags on top. I can see this effect in many images and I’m interested in using it in my creations too.

Could you please tell me what its name is?
    Thank you all in advance!

… it’s at the top right of the COW page, in the banner, I’d assume.

Unless there’s a plugin, I’d apply a white-black radial ramp to a layer then mask it with a curved shape. This I’d use over the original graphic in screen or add mode.

It seems that I responded quite fast, in order to thank you for your replies. Well, I seem to have no luck with it. Are there any pictures of it, or a video tutorial?

All I managed to do, is to make a new layer, apply a ramp, turn it to radial, and then I got a curved circle-mask. How is this gonna be made transparent? When I tried to turn the opacity a bit down, it just didn’t work. It became (somehow) just a background.

I was wondering, if you could apply this effect in a single random picture or logo, and give me the project file. I would be very grateful, if you could.

    Once again, thanks everyone!
