Strangely, I have it both paused and playing, and an effect does not help.

Lighting is quite important. Without it, especially if your prop isn’t quite flat, the different qualities of colour might differ a lot.

Thanks Darby and Dave! The problem with experimentation and inexperience is that sometimes, things don’t work out. I don’t have a lot to do, so I think I’ll manually rotoscope these shots, and when the time comes for the actual shoot, I’ll keep those shots as brief as possible. I only need them for when the actress actually physically interacts with the screen, and rotoscoping, like shooting on film, is something I feel I should do at least once in my life.

Okay, I did a little testing. While the footage is choppy in Premiere Pro, annoyingly so, when exported out from Premiere Pro, it’s fine. I don’t understand.

I did all that. Seems it’s something on my side that’s the problem… Weird that it’s only AE, not even Premiere Pro is having this problem…

Ah, the problem is that I want her walking around a house. I think it’s fitting to the song to have shots from inside of a house, and have her walking around the house, but cut-out, if that makes sense.

Well, seeing as I’m working on a no-budget, and I live in the Netherlands (surprisingly little fetish stores), the chroma key catsuit’s not gonna be a viable option. However, with some basic painting, possible bodypaint, a coloured legging and a coloured wig, it should be possible.
