The outputmodel has no typeinhere. Can you please be a bit more detailed for me… I’m a bit of a dumbo, but going in the right direction.
I have already created a custom preset setting and only need to use this one mostly in the future.. so yes please try again, I got as far as typeinhere but could not find that in the drop down menu.
In other words I don’t quite understand.

That is one solution but, its mostly for pasting a selected part of the screen
or to transfer to another canvas. -
I work all the time in fcp and pshop, but I export as frame sequence tgas and the clean up EACH frame and re import. But then I do animations. would love to know of another way. I also use masks and dump an overlay if I can.

Ive got a similar problem. I usually bring in taga in and out of different applications with my animations. But to get them to a sequence in FCP seems a problem. they come in as simgle images. so out again????? how clean IS this animation codec to convert to QT, and bring that in instead? As good as tagas?
Is this the best way to get to a sequence stage?

yes it was very strange. if I export and reimport as tagas would be best (no drop in quality) but in FCP they only come back in as a set of single images. not as imported sequence. so they have to go to quick time pro first and out again. seems strange that even Premier can import a numbered sequence and make them into a clip… in FCP this has to be made into a sequence, sort of nested again…..yet again..soooo many sequences.

Re..Exporting works and has 5 settings for tgas …best or million colours plus… which is best.
Well I’ve been through the manual… I still cannot get the imported tagas to become a SINGLE clip, I get loads of seperate tgas. so I have to make them into yet another sequece, to make a clip. Can FCP just select the first tga and then it comes in as a numbered sequence as only 1 clip. This is how I used to do this with premier, it was very easy.
