    Hi.

Now the Fast blur layer will fill in in the areas of partial opacity…

Hey, you´re right – the dark border is transparent! Crazy!
Yes – I´ll just fill it with a fast-blured copy of the layer!

You made my day, thanks Jim! 🙂

Just to confirm Andy, AE CS3 lens blur does have repeat edge pixels…

Good to know, thanks for looking.

Cheers and have a nice day!

    No idea anybody?
So it seems I have no option but scaling it up a bit.

    Thanks, Andy

As I already wrote, I´m using AE 7.0 Prof.

And it is the last checkbox in the effects window…

Are you sure? Here it´s “Stretch Map to Fit”…

    Thank you Jim.

“Repeat edge pixels” is an option of fast blur and it also would make sense here – unfortunately lens blur does not support this feature (or I can´t find it?!?).

    Any ideas besides that?

    Thanks, Andy

    Hi Valerie,

    thank you for your reply!

    To 1.

Could you give me a hint, which driver may be possible or where I can find it?
Sorry, if thats too stupid stuff.

    To 2.

My screen resolution is 1280 x 800 (my desktop PC, where XPressDV runs w/o probs, has just 1024 x 768).
In addition I see no windows overlapping, nevertheless I tried to move them (by the way which one do you
mean exactly?). Actually it displays just a single frame in playback, no matter in which window and no
matter if it is an edited sequence or just raw material. Shuttling through the timeline results in fast
and “liquid” video, even if there are supplied effects.

Thank you again for your time.

    Andy
