    LOL.

    yep, I can understand that.
    I’ve quite a complicated sequence of things coming in and moving about, so I’ve now ended up with nests within nests – so, yes, you do need to keep your wits about you.

    Thanks, but it’s not the keyframes I want to move, but rather the object as a whole including the keyframes.

    I’ve sussed it now though.

    NESTING is my new best friend, again.

    Nest the clip then I can select the nest and move it around the Canvas to my hearts content.

    Woohoo.

    Thomas – you’re a life saver!

    I’ve just registered to say many, many thanks for this tip.

    I’m in the process of editing a supplied clip in FCP and have to supply it back in the original size and spec – MPEG1 640×360, which of course compressor won’t do.

    But, after your tweak, it does now!
