never mind, problem was fixed by copying a codec from encore into premier,

anyone else have this problem these might help –>

Ive got a similar problem, when i import my videos (.mpg) i have no sound with them. Like when im importing music files (.mp3 format) into Premiere i get sound its just when i import my videos it doesn’t import the sound with them.

And the videos play fine in adobe bridge and windows media player and stuff.

ive tried this
Edit –> Preferences –> Audio Hardware –> ASIO Settings. From there just make sure all the devices are checked.
and it didnt fix it.

anyone know how to fix this??
