    What are the specs on your machine? If your using a vector based grid, it doesn’t need to be 10,000px large. Scale your vectors down, and put it into a comp that is 1,000px. AE does not like huge comp settings or layers. It will drastically, slow down preformance.

  • I would say that most 3D tracking software are just as easy to use as AE’s tracker. However, they can go alot deeper. All of them have auto trackers are pretty automatic. 3D tracking is an art in itself. I would suggest that you would also want to have a 3d app in your pipeline too though. I would suggest Synth eyes or matchmover SD, or PF hoe to start. Hope that helps.

    I’m not so much looking for that. I’m looking for a way to sweeten your 3D renders after you’ve brought them out of your 3D package.
