June 15, 2019 at 11:16 pm in reply to: Now do you import and work with mp4 to retain qualityI am using a logitec web camera.
I used the Logitech Capture software to create a double screen on mp4 format. (Published in feb 2019)
This consists of a desktop screen with a smaller screen of a live web cam of me speaking to the cameraThen i used your suggestion of handbrake to convert it over to vegas
Constant frame rate helped.
Last prob is that the sound and video are out of sync.
(I don’t know if you are supposed to have as many probs with the whole process.
But if i can solve the sound ynsc it should work out.do you think it is ok to unlock the video and sound tracks using the use quantum shuffle to sync them?
thanks -

June 15, 2019 at 10:35 am in reply to: Now do you import and work with mp4 to retain qualitysorry, i fixed up the fps to constant and that worked for the video.
But I find the sound track is out of syc,I had thought of adding a clapper board and manually moving the sound track in the editor.
Do you recommend that? -

I captured a widescreen mp4 from my webcam at 17k bps.
So do i need to set vegas at the same 17k bps?
There does not seem to be an option to select bps in production in vegas.Just so i undertand, it’s ok to import trim then export an MP4?
(not that i have a choice because webcam creates an mp4 to start with) -
