Yes that is what he means, the boost is minimal in latest OS maybe 2-3% better so might as well just have the 680 and leave room for say a rocket rental or MiniSas storage etc.

Just noticing a possible bug. Can some other users try using the offline window in the conform tab to compare a quicktime to your xml timeline – i am finding it works but then goes away if i leave the conform page and come back.

The only way to get it to show back up in offline window and compare is if i restart Resolve. I saw this in a previous version once and it was fixed in the next update.

Just curious if its only my system/project.
    Thank you

Great thanks for the info peter, looking forward to checking this out at some point!

Before I upgrade as I did to 9.1.1 from 9.0.4, it would be helpful if we could also have a list of what may have been addressed as opposed to just ‘general performance and stability improvements’?

    thank you

  • This bug is a HUGE problem! Maybe BMD doesn’t respond hear anymore? Also seeing this issue in 29.97 vs 30 from fcp7 xml – how can this be allowed to be released with such huge glaring bugs? Even worse not tell users about bugs you aware of so we can avoid client disasters.

I just don’t get it. I have seen some big resolve 9 bugs in many versions – 9.0.4 got rid of a big one which had XML from fcp7 r3d jobs multiple frames off but now mixed frame rates in 9.1.1 is a huge pain…I want know how such a huge bug can be allowed?? BMD I know you are aware of the bugs so can you please respond to dongle owning professionals?

  • I was concerned when I posted this that some hardware, firmware or procedural stuff could be posted by users and incorrectly called “bugs” Let me just clarify I am talking about actual software bugs that BMD is aware of and will tell you so via their support. Some more clarity and a two- way street with your full licensed customers would be a great thing to add- I would even pay for a support contract if it meant not being in the dark as I feel I am now. Hopefully BMD is reading this and listening.
