    for the record, avchd in premiere 4.1 even on a 8 core 2.8 mac pro still sucks. Give me back my FCP!

    My money is in the canon hf series of avchd cameras for tapeless,
    and on the canon hv-30 or 40 for hdv. they rock, pretty good in low light and are small and cheap. spend the rest on a good mic to plug into it!- a
