Have you tried exporting the audio as an audio file, editing outside of Prem and then reimporting as one clip?

Depending on what quality you need to edit with, I’d reccomend converting the original file to another format before importing – MPEG 2 would work for many projects or perhaps H264?

There are a lot of apps out there for this kind of conversion from the free quick and dirty to the very sophisticated and expensive.

I can recommend any number depending on your final usage rquirements and budget.

    Kind regards

First, make sure the audio and video are lined up so they are in sync – then, select the video clip, hold Shift key and then select the audio clip so bot are highlighted. Now, right click on either and on the menu which appears you will see the option ‘Link’. click on this and there you go.

I use Sorenson Spark for this – great app that alloow you to crop, size change aspect ratio, pixel size etc and then batch all to FLV. I also use the On2 VP6 codec which gives astonishing quality at very low bit rates and is optimised for streaming.

    Hope this helps
