I’ve had a similar problem myself before where parts of the video track fail to render are you are left with a black screen.

Have a check to see that your output and input frame rates match, as the conversion, especially over large projects can be too much and can cause the symptoms that you mentioned.

I know I’m late to this but I hope it helps anybody else who may have the same problem.
