I took the MTS footage (1920×1080) from my camera and converted it as uncompressed avi files (although I didnt change the resolution to 1280×720). At this point I’m just trying to import this footage and make it playback properly.

I tried importing footage that wasnt edited in the cs3 project into cs4, and it is still having this weird speed up issue.

Is there a certain file type that I can convert to from MTS that would not lose quality, but still play properly in CS4?

The video format is AVI, no codec. The frame rate is 29.97fps. I’ve tried importing the footage (individual clips), and they all have the same speeding up and then freezing framing problem. And I’ve tried importing and opening the project. Would there be something wrong with the AVI files that wouldn’t appear in CS3?
