Hi there. I’ve been battling with this problem for a few days now and would really appreciate any suggestions anybody might have. Somebody else posted the same problem a few months ago but I don’t think it got solved: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/205/873085
Anyway, what I’m trying to do is edit a project I did in CS3. I’m now on CS4. The other factor that has changed since the file worked is that I upgraded to Windows 7 (from Vista.) The other forum-poster with this problem also upgraded to Windows 7. I was wondering if maybe I forgot to back up a codec or something when I did the full upgrade? Would that cause problems?
The project opens up and, at first seems normal, except that I think everything is shifted a little to the right:

However, once I press return to render the preview on the time line it goes from this:

    to this:

    Does anybody have any ideas?
My sequence settings are thus (1280×720):

I’ve tried all sorts but, so far, have not even been able to create a file of those dimentions and frame rate that doesn’t have the same problem.

    Thanks in advance!
