[david bogie] “In those days, we learned how the render pipeline worked and we planned accordingly. “

David, it is difficult to plan if I do not know how many times i have to RE-render clips even if I do not touch them. After sometime it just turns to red without any known to me course. I can not say how many times i had to render that SC clips again and again without changing them at all.

thank you all for your tips and tricks! very much appreciated!

I have around 40-50 clips with SmoothCam applied on. I prefer to temporally switch all the SC plugs off and at the end before final render I will switch them all back. I have other plugins applied to that clips and want to have ability to adjust things during the work.

    oh yeah…

it looks like only solution is to switch off all the Smoothcams for smooth editing and at the very end get it on for final render.

SmoothCam works only on QuickTime files and not avi. What is the format of your clip?

Thank you Todd for the response,

that article is too complicated… I will get back to it later. My question is how to setup my workflow to have same colors on output as i had it before i import the clip. In AFX i use only cloning tool to clean the footage a bit and I do not touch colors or brightnes or contrast or gamma at all. But it is really weird to see my clip after AFX so different. It is not only in QT but in Final Cut Pro too.

Bryce, could you please give me the URL for that render tutorial from Video Copilot? I have the problem with colors on output and can not find the solution.

[chadwick Chennault] “[Andrei Bocharnikov] “I am sorry… how I downgrade to 10.5.4? Do you mean to reinstall whole system from the scratch?”

    Yes. “

I see… I am not sure I can afford this in the middle of editing schedule but I will consider this step in near future. Thank you for the suggestion and sharing your valuable experience with me.
