So, the FCP still watch the export over SMB and break to 2gb…
    Space Age – 2007… 🙁

I tr to find out some ini (pref) files, but cant find.
Anyway, now i use NAS where AFP protocol supported to workaround this 2GB…
    Hmmm…

  • Im the IT person… 🙂
Im quite sure the problem is in the FCP, sunday
when i have little break, i made other investigation about this
    Andras,

  • Yeah, its workaround
    But very time consuming.
I plan to export every day around 10 hour of DV25 material.
The export time everyday 2-3 hour (approx 20-30 percent of source duration).
With workaround I get 2xtimes (once to local, once copy), sum: 4-6hour 🙁

Anyone can try to export to WinXP share over 2GB file?

I made some additional investigation next few days and post it…

  • Perfect copy, its copy all of the 3GB (no chunking 🙂 )!
And even if I save as from QTPlayer PRO!

    Andras,

  • Unfortunately not helped:

The settings was disabled, (by default)
and even if i set it enabled and limit to 10GB not effect,
    still 2GB chunks.

And as I try in previous:

The export to local hdd is fine!
Its put 3GB file to local hdd perfect!.

The problem appear only if I export to the network!

    Andras,
