    Dear Mads,

Thank you for confirming, this is an existing issue.

It comes as a surprise to me though, considering my limited exposure to traveling action. I imagined considering the volume of such heavy duty and well co-ordinated action sequences in today’s age would have cracked a solution for the same.

Walkie Talkies are savior in many cases, not this though. Even if you manage to hide it, the actors cannot talk back and ofcourse there are range issues, channels being the least of the issue. Whatsapp Group, without network, isn’t a solution.

    Much appreciate the exchange.

    Thanks,

    Anand

  • Yes Mark, all those ideas are being explored , including refree headband. But basically there is no option for the closeups other than telephotos like Optimo, I had mentioned initially.

I have had a lot of inputs in terms of the rigging. I am actually looking at more alernative capture medium suggestions.

    Thank you for detailed suggestions

  • Mark,

Thank you so much for writing in. To answer your first query, well a livestream is an ideal want. But I am breaking down the scale. First trying to capture the multiple cameras and make post based content, if I get the quality right the next thing would be to also to livestream and record both.

The event is live, I will get a day’s tech check ofcourse. Besides I am good with HD or 2k quality at this point.

As your inputs and how I am thinking –

    1. I will get TOP shots with a GoPro or alternative rigged

    2. I will also get some shots using camera’s on Keesler jibs

    3. Also rig the ring

    4. But how do I get those upclose shots, with the cage being in the foreground?

    5. Then if I have to live stream, will they all need to be wired or bluetooth/wifi will work?

ATEM though is a good suggestion for low scale.

Pls do suggest anything else which are deviations/alternatives from the same.

    Thank You,

    Anand

  • Some suggestions for this is much appreciated.

    Thanks
