I wait until my edit is done before pulling clips from my multi-cam to optical flow and/or stabilize. Then I…

1 – Go to beginning of clip > right click > reveal in browser > option+M to immediately make a marker in browser window
2 – Double click multi-cam clip > use the maker’s starting point to go to the specific spot in the timeline
3 – Use the range tool to select what is needed to copy & paste into my working/editing timeline

It’s not perfect, but close enough! I’m currently using 10.4.5
