the problem is certainly related to windows vista.
It has something to do with Windolws Aero; I’m using windows seven x64 on a quad core desktop with 4GB of ram, having the same problem. however, I changed my windows theme to classic and it seems like the problem is solved. I’ve vector painted 10 frames so far and no problem has yet shown up.
