Maybe I didn’t do it right, but that didn’t really seem to be any better than just copying the image to a new layer and using the magic wand to delete the black. Or even just quickly circling the images with a lasso (maybe slightly feathered). What’s the reason Extract is a better option than those? I’m not trying to be mean, I’m really curious.
So there’s definitely no way to fix the audio sync problems in Premiere though, right? I’ve tried several VOBs from different movies he gave me, and they all have the sync issue.
Is there a better program than Flask to export VOB to AVI? One that perhaps has a better deinterlacer?
Actually he does, we all make fun of him. It’s all in good fun though 🙂
I did think of that, but I figured I would lose a lot of quality by doing that and was hoping to avoid it, besides which my capture card has lately been… uncooperative… 🙂
I have no idea, but just throwing this out there.. if you did a really harsh lighting effect and then gaussian blurred the heck out of it and adjusted the hue/dropped the saturation and then painted over it you would probably get something similar. At least similar to the faces.
For what it’s worth I just did a test where I repainted the pupil in with the paintbrush on a new layer, dropped the opacity, dodged it a bit, merged the layers and then blurred it together so it looked like the photograph. It looked iffy at first, but worked out okay in the end. If you didn’t know you’d never suspect it.
