highly rendered skin
Hi,
I’m trying to find a way/tutorial for the kind of glowing highly rendered skin that you see on pieces by Autumn Whitehurst,https://art.webesteem.pl/9/whitehurst_en.php
the closest clue is that she uses brushes over real photos, but the skin has a false but real quality that I haven’t done before.
Any help or directions would be greatly appreciated

I have no idea, but just throwing this out there.. if you did a really harsh lighting effect and then gaussian blurred the heck out of it and adjusted the hue/dropped the saturation and then painted over it you would probably get something similar. At least similar to the faces.
