    interesting,

so basically if I would want to go for this I would need to buy the MTF version of the BMCC 2.5K. with the speedbooster EF to MFT.

This even though I only have ef lenses and will never use micro four third lenses.

    Canon C 300, great.

That would probably be in Proress at 1080p at 23.976 fps?

OK, great advice, thank you very much.

I also do the whole production in 23.976.

So I can render out a quicktime (master) at 23.976 from AE and then go import it to premiere and render out at 60i?

Should I leave the project set to 23.976 though?

Any other settings I should be aware of?

Thanks again, this is really helpful.

    Great info, thank you.

So the modern movies that are smooth and do not give that stuttering (strobe) effect when panning from left to right, its a better conversion then? from 24 to 29.97?

Or why then are they so really smooth?

I filmed commercials at 23,976 and converted to 29.97 and it does still give the strobe (did the conversion just in AE, dropped it into a 29.97 composition and re-rendered. i think its because for every 4th frame there is a still frame added which is the same as the 3rd frame.

To by pass the picture style settings is not possible. You always have to choose one style.

So, what would be the settings to get the total ORIGINAL file? Without having the camera ad anything. No manipulation.

Yes, but I would be shooting with a full frame lens (24-70mm 2.8) on a cropped frame camera (BMCC).

I was hoping for some kind of adapter that can change the view to full frame. So I can see full frame through the lens. But you already answered that, thanks.

Now is there any big disadvantage in image quality while shooting with a full frame lens (24-70mm 2.8) on a cropped frame camera (BMCC)???

    Great Inf. every one.

Just did my first shoot with the Ninja on DN x HD , 1080 p.

    used

    contrast 0
    sharpness 0
Saturation instead of all the way down I used only -2

Looks great for color grading in Davinci.

I am shooting proress to Ninja Blade external recorder.

Interesting that Sat should be left at O, I heard that before. Why if it can be set in post?

If the Saturation, contrast and sharpness are basically like a post process but build in internally in the camera, we can get better results by by-passing that build in processor which is basically just consumer quality????

    Thats very Clear…..

OK, now I have a great full frame EF lens, the Canon 24-70mm 2.8.

Can I still use it on the 2.5K BMCC? It seems to work great!
