thank you for the reply, the client wanted some shots out so the timeline became shorter, I mean the time of the total edit became shorter, however, I cant find TRIM TIMELINE (as in AE), there remains a huge empty part at the end which is rendered in black

    Thank you,

What would be the best noise reduction effect to use to the separate color channels?

    I heard about High Pass?

    OK, great info.

I was checking with B&H, and here is my finding so far: I see that the speedbooster will need an additional power as the 2.5k is passive mft.
Quote: you need to use an optional 5 VDC battery connected to the Speed Booster’s Micro-USB socket. Its a pitty, O already have a rig with swithtonic v mount battery, for the cam and the external monitor, for the speedbooster I will need another battery…. hmmmm.

Also the auto focus will not work. Not a huge deal, but do think its a nice extra feature on the ef 2.5k.

Hope Blackmagic will update to active 2.5k MFT soon.

I do think the 2.5K is one of Blackmagics best and stable cams, no fnp at all. I used it for 4 tv commercials and a short documentary so far. just great! I was going to get the 4K, but the FNP really scares me as I shoot lots of evening scenes which go really fine on the 2.5k.

    well well, OK, super….

so the mft mount can have all type of adapters for other lenses.

So there are no down sides….? 2.5k mft with speedbooster then it is…
total will be around 2700,- u$. but will be awesome. I may look for a good filter to minimise the moire and rolling shutter…… OR DOES the speedbooster get rid of that too…. (wishful thinking)

The problem is that the flange distance of the SpeedBooster is designed for short flange camera systems.
So will this still be a disadvantage when I go MFT?

What type of other advantages would MFT mount give opposed to EF mount?
