October 21, 2016 at 9:41 am in reply to: Preserving frame rate option in nested compositions has no effect!!Thank you Walter for your help.
It’s clear to me now, but is there any way that I can add two clips with different frame rates in one comp and preserve the frame rates of both them? I saw many videos (like Vlogs) on YouTube where some people record their vlogs with different cameras those record in different frame rates. The clips of their recordings shift from 30fps to 60fps and vise versa.
Thanks

October 18, 2016 at 6:20 am in reply to: Preserving frame rate option in nested compositions has no effect!!What specifically are you trying to do?A 24fps master comp will itself render 24fps; a 60fps comp nested within it will still be subject to the constraints of that final 24fps comp upon output.
I know that already, but you can prevent that by selecting the option “Preserve frame rate when nested”. It means that if you nest 60fps comp into 24fps comp, its layer will stay at 60fps, where any other layers in the final 24fps will run at 24fps. I saw that many times, I’ve attached a video link on YouTube to see by yourself.

He is Indian and I don’t understand what he is saying, but what he did is very clear and understandable. He nested three comp (60fps, 25fps and 8fps) into 25fps comp. All nested comps were running at the same frame rates been sett for them in their original comps. They didn’t get effect by the final 25fps comp.
I hope now it’s clear for you.

Hi,
You may achieve a result close to this in AE if you use a third party plugin called Element 3D from the creator https://www.videocopilot.net

Hi Roei
I would like to thank you for helping me in this issue, I really appreciate it. I checked the links that you mentioned in your above post, they really helped me in some points but still I’m facing the same issue.
I think like you said it because the linear motion that I’m making. If you look closely in the (24f) example below you can see all the animations work smoothly only the sentence “Welcome to” looks choppy. I don’t know what the problem exactly? But I need to figure out the solution very soon or I’ll be in trouble.
I don’t want to be forced to use 60 frames because I going to use some 24 frames footage in the project.
Thanks

Hey Roei
No it’s 13.7.1.6 I didn’t update it because I’m afraid that my plugins will stop working on new versions, since some them are not supported anymore by their creators.
The funny thing is that I’ve many free templates from the internet, they preview and render like a charm without any chopping or lagging. The issue starts when I make a new project!!

August 15, 2016 at 5:15 pm in reply to: Re-position the anchor point of already animated layer.Well this is another way to get around it, but it’s still the same concept of having duplicated layers that I mentioned in my above post. Yet I confess that I completely forgot about the null object, and that makes your method smarter than mine 🙂
The point of having multiple anchor points in the same layer is to make the composition easy and less complicated. For example, I want to publish my template to other people, and I don’t want them to get confused by the huge number of layers. I’m pretty sure there is another way to solve this issue.
Good tip though, I like it very much 🙂
Thanks a lot
