Thank you (both) very much for your replies.
So I think we will “upgrade” to HDe or SDe.

Until now we only work with SD-Material compressed with 360 kBit(?) (maximum quality in Media100i).
But in the Future the Footage-Server should be fast enough after a switch to HD-Material.
Which solution would be fast enough? What about the “FibreChannel-Server” you talk about on your homepage?
